Our Story
Born from the coast.
Est. 2018
Founded on a pitch by the pier.
FC Santa Monica started with a Sunday pickup game at Sorrento Beach and a shared idea — that this neighborhood deserved a football club that looked, sounded and played like the people who live here. No corporate ownership. No outside money. Just neighbors, players and parents pulling in the same direction.
Seven years later, we field eleven teams across youth and adult divisions, run a free academy for kids on the Westside, organize massive game activations on the Pier, and host community cleanups near Ocean Park. From volunteer coaching to gathering at local hubs like Douglas Park and The Britannia Pub, the club is built by the community.

We field teams for youth divisions from U-6 through U-18, alongside competitive adult divisions and our free Grassroots Youth Academy pathways.
As a supporter-owned club, 100% of profits from merchandise sales and corporate sponsorship alignment go directly to hiring local coaches and purchasing gear for Westside youth.
We offer B2B opportunities including custom apparel co-branding, matchday activations, and joint neighborhood initiatives. Send a message on our Contact page to get started.
